YOUR SCHEDULE IS HERE!

Now it really feels like competition weekend is coming.

Your schedule is where all the pieces start coming together.

It’s time to see how your LEAP weekend is taking shape, review your studio-specific information, and start preparing your teachers, dancers, and families.

Let’s take a look at what you need to know.

FIRST, KNOW WHICH SCHEDULE YOU’RE LOOKING AT

LEAP has two schedule milestones:

APPROXIMATELY 2 WEEKS BEFORE YOUR EVENT

Tentative Event Schedule

This gives participating studios an initial look at how the event weekend is taking shape.

APPROXIMATELY 1 WEEK BEFORE YOUR EVENT

Studio-Specific Final Schedule

This is your studio's final schedule with the information you need to prepare for competition weekend.

REGISTRATION CLOSES → TENTATIVE SCHEDULE → FINAL STUDIO SCHEDULE → EVENT WEEKEND

YOUR FINAL SCHEDULE IS YOUR GO-TO

Once it arrives, give it a complete review.

Before sending information out to your entire studio, take a few minutes to look through your final schedule

Check:

YOUR ROUTINES
Make sure you're familiar with where your studio appears throughout the weekend.

YOUR PERFORMANCE TIMES
Know when your dancers are scheduled to take the stage.

YOUR AWARDS CEREMONIES
Identify which awards ceremonies apply to your dancers.

YOUR BUSIEST TIMES
Look for stretches when your studio has several routines close together.

YOUR TEACHERS
Think about where your teachers need to be throughout the event.

KNOW YOUR AWARDS CEREMONIES

Don't stop at performance times.

When reviewing your schedule, make note of the awards ceremonies connected to your dancers.

That helps you communicate the full weekend to your families - not just when they perform.

LOOK FOR THE FUN STUFF, TOO

Your routines aren't the only things happening.

As you review your weekend, keep an eye out for the LEAP experiences and activities happening around your competition.

If your dancers are interested in opportunities like LEAP For The Stars, make sure you understand when and where those activities happen at your event.
