YOU’RE READY FOR LEAP!

Your competition weekend is almost here!

You’ve finalized your registration, uploaded your music, reviewed your schedule, and prepared your team.

Now there are just a few final things to remember before you head our way.

We can’t wait to see your dancers take the stage at LEAP!

01 - CHECK YOUR SCHEDULE ONE MORE TIME

Know before you go.

Before heading to the venue, give your studio-specific final schedule one last look.

Make sure your team knows:

✓ When your routines perform

✓ Which awards ceremonies apply

✓ Your studio’s arrival expectations

✓ Who is responsible for what throughout the weekend

Then make sure everyone is working from the latest schedule, not an earlier tentative version.

02 - PACK YOUR MUSIC BACKUP

Uploaded? Great. Now make sure the USB comes with you.

Your music should already be uploaded through Dance Comp Genie.

Current LEAP procedures also require studios to bring a backup USB flash drive containing their music to Studio Check-In.

Music uploaded? ✓

USB packed? ✓

Extra backup available? ✓

You’re good to go.

03 - ENTERING PHOTOGENIC?

Don’t leave the photo at home!

If you have dancers participating in LEAP's Photogenic Competition, make sure their entry comes with you to the event.

Under the current LEAP rules, Photogenic entries are submitted at the LEAP Boutique, and dancers submit an 8×10 photo.

04 - LEAP FOR THE STARS

Ready to show us your best leap?

Remember that experience we told you about back in Stop 02?

Competition weekend is here- and so is LEAP For The Stars.

Registered dancers can sign up for LEAP For The Stars at the LEAP Boutique during the event.

So if your dancers want to participate:

Tell them before you arrive.

They don’t need another choreographed routine.

They just need to come ready to have some fun and show us their best leap.

05 - WHEN YOU ARRIVE

Start with Studio Check-In.

Once you arrive at the venue, your first stop as the Studio Director (or your designated representative) is Studio Check-In near the LEAP Boutique

This is where you'll meet your show director and take care of the final studio check-in pieces before your weekend gets underway. This is also who you can give your backup USB to

STOP BY THE LEAP BOUTIQUE

Make it part of your weekend.

The LEAP Boutique isn't just where you'll handle Studio Check-In.

It's also where dancers can take care of opportunities such as Photogenic and LEAP For The Stars under the current process.
