LEAP FOR THE STARS
LEAP For The Stars is LEAP's at-event leaping competition- and it's open to every registered dancer
Dancers get another chance to take the stage, show us their best leap, and have some fun outside of their scheduled routines.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Under the current format:
SIGN UP AT THE LEAP BOUTIQUE
SHOW US YOUR BEST LEAP
COMPETE WITH YOUR AGE GROUP
LEAP FOR THE STARS WINNERS ARE SELECTED
The current competition is divided into 11 & under and ages 12–19, requires at least three participants in an age division, and awards the winner a LEAP Boutique credit.
I'd leave the exact age divisions, entry fee, and prize off the main evergreen copy until 2027 details are approved.

They don't have to prepare another routine—but knowing the opportunity exists means they'll arrive ready to jump in and have some fun.

Give your soloists another opportunity to shine.
For dancers who want to take their solo experience a little further, LEAP Title adds another layer to their competition weekend.
Title gives dancers the opportunity to represent themselves beyond their regular solo placement and compete for recognition within their age division.
This should be a strong section visually because Title also creates a connection between Regionals and Nationals.
TITLE DOESN’T HAVE TO END AT REGIONALS
Under the current LEAP program, Title competitors can continue their Title journey at Nationals, while Regional Title winners receive additional recognition and opportunities—including a Team LEAP invitation and a free solo entry at a LEAP regional the following season.

Would be excited by the possibility of continuing their Title experience at Nationals

TEAM LEAP
Your LEAP experience could continue at Nationals.
Team LEAP gives qualifying dancers the opportunity to participate in the National Finals opening number.
That's a compelling experience:
Regional recognition → Team LEAP invitation → Nationals → Perform together in the opening number
Current LEAP materials connect Team LEAP invitations with Title participants and certain Regional solo recognitions; the Award Manual also references LEAP For The Stars winners.
Keep an eye out throughout your LEAP weekend- your dancer's Regional experience could open the door to Team LEAP at Nationals.
LEADING WITH A LEAP
Because who dancers are offstage matters, too.
Leading with a LEAP recognizes dancers who excel both on and off the stage through LEAP's scholarship program.
The current program is designed for graduating Senior dancers who are continuing into college and/or furthering their dance education following the competition season.
Talent matters. Character matters. What dancers do beyond the stage matters, too.
If you have an eligible Senior, make sure they know the opportunity exists.
